Cleansing pads combine a liquid formula and an application surface in one step. They are swept over the face to lift impurities and help smooth the surface, rather than applied as a thick mask. Different pads have different finishing instructions, so they should not automatically be treated as leave-on toner pads.

Madeca PHA Cleansing Pad uses a dual-sided sheet and gluconolactone for exfoliating care. The plain surface is used first for makeup residue and impurities, followed by the embossed surface for texture care. The original manufacturer's directions specify a light lukewarm-water rinse afterward. Continue with your usual hydrating skincare once finished.

Two pad surfaces with PHA and centella care

These ready-soaked pads bring together the physical wiping action of a sheet and a cleansing formula containing PHA. The two surfaces have different roles, allowing you to use the plain side first and the embossed side next without reaching for a separate cotton pad.

• Gluconolactone formula: The product contains 5,000ppm of gluconolactone, a polyhydroxy acid, as part of its exfoliating approach. It is a cleansing pad, not a concentrated acid peel.
• Dual-sided design: The plain side helps remove makeup residue and impurities. The embossed surface adds a textured wiping step to help smooth rough-feeling areas.
• Centella-derived ingredients: Centella asiatica extract, asiaticoside, madecassic acid and asiatic acid accompany the cleansing ingredients for the range's Madeca care focus.
• Moisture-supporting ingredients: Glycerin, butylene glycol and allantoin are included alongside botanical extracts, helping balance the cleansing and exfoliating format.
• Aromatic botanical components: Cedarwood, rosemary and clary oils appear in the formula, together with peppermint leaf extract. It is not an essential-oil-free product.
• Ready-to-use jar: The 60 pre-soaked pads are supplied in one resealable container. Close it after taking out a pad to help keep the remaining sheets moist.
