WELLAGE highlights a triple-scale spicule system and describes a noticeable tingling feel during application. The product remains cosmetic surface skincare; imagery of needles and references to “shots” do not mean that the bottle is intended for injection.

• Botul-Peptide ingredient: S-Clostridium Botulinum Oligopeptide-1 is the brand’s highlighted cosmetic peptide. Tripeptide-1, acetyl hexapeptide-8 and palmitoyl pentapeptide-4 also appear in the full ingredient list.
• Hydrolyzed sponge: This is the listed spicule-related ingredient in the Botuleedle system. The brand’s “1.5 million shots” statement refers to an average spicule count in 50 mL, not the number of applications or injections.
• Hyaluronic ingredients: Sodium hyaluronate, hyaluronic acid, hydrolyzed hyaluronic acid and sodium acetylated hyaluronate complement the water-binding base of glycerin, butylene glycol and propanediol.
