AHVTE uses Shopify Checkout to provide customers with a secure and straightforward payment experience. This policy explains how payments are accepted, verified, processed, and refunded for orders placed through ahvte.com.

1. Accepted Payment Methods

AHVTE accepts only the payment methods that are enabled through Shopify and displayed during checkout.

Available payment methods may vary depending on factors such as:

  • The customer’s location.
  • The selected currency.
  • The customer’s device or browser.
  • The order contents and total.
  • The payment options currently supported or enabled through Shopify.

The options displayed at checkout are the complete and most current list of payment methods available for a particular order. AHVTE does not guarantee that any specific card, digital wallet, accelerated checkout option, or local payment method will always be available.

Unless an option is expressly displayed at checkout, AHVTE does not accept cash, checks, direct bank transfers, cash on delivery, or payment information submitted through email or our contact form.

2. Payment Requirements

Payment must be successfully submitted or authorized before an order can be processed.

Customers are responsible for providing accurate:

  • Cardholder or account information.
  • Billing address.
  • Contact information.
  • Security or verification information requested during checkout.

Incorrect or incomplete billing information may cause a payment to be declined, delayed, or selected for additional review.

Submitting an order does not guarantee acceptance. An order is considered accepted after payment has been authorized and AHVTE has confirmed that the order can be fulfilled.

3. Order Confirmation

After an order is submitted successfully, Shopify will generally send an automated confirmation to the email address or contact method provided during checkout.

Customers should review the confirmation and promptly notify AHVTE if any order information appears incorrect.

An automated confirmation acknowledges that the order was received. It does not prevent AHVTE from canceling or refunding an order because of:

  • Product unavailability.
  • Pricing or listing errors.
  • Payment-processing problems.
  • Suspected fraud or unauthorized activity.
  • Incorrect or unverifiable customer information.
  • Shipping restrictions.
  • Other circumstances that prevent lawful or reasonable fulfillment.

If AHVTE cancels an order after payment has been processed, the applicable amount will be returned using the appropriate refund procedure.

4. Currency, Taxes, and Additional Fees

The checkout page displays the applicable order total before the customer submits payment. Depending on the order and destination, this total may include product charges, shipping charges, discounts, and applicable taxes.

A customer’s bank, card issuer, or payment provider may apply:

  • Foreign-transaction fees.
  • Currency-conversion charges.
  • International-processing fees.
  • Other account-specific charges.

These charges are imposed independently by the customer’s financial institution or payment provider and are not collected or controlled by AHVTE.

5. Payment Security

Payments are submitted through Shopify Checkout and processed using the payment method or provider selected during checkout.

Shopify’s platform is certified Level 1 PCI DSS compliant, and this compliance extends to stores powered by Shopify. PCI DSS is an industry security standard for organizations that process, store, or transmit payment-card information.

AHVTE will never ask customers to send complete payment-card details, security codes, passwords, or account credentials through email, social media, or our contact form.

Customers are responsible for protecting their devices, passwords, payment accounts, and checkout information from unauthorized use.

6. Declined, Failed, or Pending Payments

AHVTE does not control whether a bank or payment provider approves a transaction.

A payment may fail or be declined because of:

  • Incorrect payment or billing information.
  • Insufficient funds or available credit.
  • An expired or restricted payment method.
  • Security controls imposed by the issuer.
  • Location or currency restrictions.
  • Verification requirements.
  • A temporary processing or network issue.

If a payment is declined, customers should verify their information or contact their bank or payment provider. AHVTE might not receive the specific reason for a decline.

Some transactions may appear as pending authorization holds even when an order was unsuccessful or canceled. The financial institution or payment provider controls when these holds are released.

7. Payment Verification and Fraud Prevention

Orders may be reviewed using security and fraud-analysis tools available through Shopify.

AHVTE may temporarily hold an order, request reasonable verification, or cancel and refund a transaction when an order:

  • Is identified as potentially high risk.
  • Contains inconsistent billing or shipping information.
  • Cannot be verified.
  • Appears unauthorized, fraudulent, or intended for resale abuse.
  • Violates AHVTE’s policies or applicable law.

Failure to provide requested verification within the stated timeframe may result in cancellation. AHVTE is not responsible for delays caused by incomplete or inaccurate customer information.

8. Refunds

Refund eligibility is governed by AHVTE’s Refund & Return Policy.

When a refund to the original payment method is approved, it will be submitted through Shopify to the payment method used for the order. AHVTE cannot redirect that refund to a different card, bank account, payment service, or individual.

Banks and payment providers may require additional time to post a completed refund. These external processing times are outside AHVTE’s control.

If the original payment method has expired, been replaced, or been closed, the customer should contact the issuing financial institution for assistance locating the refund.

9. Duplicate Charges and Payment Concerns

Customers who believe they were charged more than once should first review whether one of the transactions is a temporary pending authorization rather than a completed charge.

If multiple completed charges appear for the same AHVTE order, contact AHVTE through our Contact Us page and provide:

  • The order number.
  • The transaction dates and amounts.
  • A screenshot or statement with complete account numbers and other sensitive information concealed.

Do not submit complete card numbers, security codes, passwords, or banking credentials.

10. Payment Disputes

AHVTE is committed to reviewing legitimate payment concerns. Customers are encouraged to contact us before initiating a payment dispute so we have an opportunity to investigate the order and provide supporting information or an appropriate resolution.

This request does not limit any rights available through a bank, payment provider, or applicable law.

Please allow 3–5 business days for AHVTE to review and respond to a payment inquiry. More complex cases may require additional time.

11. Policy Updates

AHVTE may update this Payment Policy when its checkout configuration, Shopify’s available payment services, or applicable requirements change.

The version displayed on ahvte.com when an order is submitted will apply to that transaction, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
